The High School Booster Club held a fundraiser involving donkeys and basketball last Friday night. I've been told that they pre-sold over 1300 tickets to the event! Representing Fred Assam Elementary (and wonderful sports!) were Mrs. Erin Bisbee and Mr. Dan Woodle. They each took turns on a donkey
during the game. These were no ordinary donkeys ~ they have been trained to buck, duck, and run at the most inconvenient times! I think both teachers would agree that they had fun - but needed a shower as soon as they finished! Between games, elementary students could ride a donkey for fun. Of course during that time - the donkeys were very mild. Joining in the fun ~ School Board member Renee Ullom and Superintendent Pappone assisted with "poop" detail.
