flag duty

5th grade students rotate the flag duty each week. Volunteers select their week of duty and they are responsible for putting the flag up each morning and taking it down at the end of the school day. Once in a while, a flag goes up the wrong way ~ but not very often! The students have learned how to handle the flags and the appropriate way to fold the flags.
