Back in January, the Student Council decided to do a valentine/sucker fundraiser as a service project. They proposed raising money for two families in our Fred Assam Elementary School family. Knowing that Ron has had medical issues over the last few months, Student Council members voted to raise money for this family.We had a successful and exciting valentine/sucker sale! We sold over 1600 valentine/suckers and after expenses, raised $370. Today, Student Council President Carter presented Ron, Yvette, Sydney & Jackson with a check for $185 to help with any expenses.
We try to promote Acts of Kindness every day at Fred Assam Elementary School ~ and today is our Act of Kindness for Ron and his family!
