You Just Never Know . . . . .

No two days are ever the same in an elementary school. This proved to be true again today! During the morning recess, a first grader was walking during mileage club and his shoe flew off. No big deal, you say? Well, the shoe landed in the storm drain located in the bus parking lot. With many giggles and squeals ~ by Barb and myself, we removed the man-hole cover, located the shoe, and removed it by using a six-foot pole with a tennis ball on the end!! Put two women together and you just never know what we can accomplish!
The shoe was returned to its owner ~ and all is quiet on the home front . . . for now!
